Hi everyone, did you know that we have an army of dedicated Perfect Paper Crafting Brand Ambassadors that showcase beautiful work on their blog? Patti is one of our Loyal paper crafters and this month we are dedicating our blog posts to her beautiful work. You can see more of her creations at http://www.cherisheachpreciousday.blogspot.co.uk.
We asked Patti to tell us a little bit about herself, here is what she had to share.
My best friend and I have been married for over 42 years. He’s my #1 fan, and encourages me to let other things go, in order to be creative. We have two grown children. One lives in Germany, and the other in New Mexico. We are proud grandparents of one beautiful 17 month old granddaughter, and are so excited to have a grandson in progress!!! We are very active in our church and community. I dabbled in paper crafts for a few years before becoming hopelessly addicted. When I retired in 2009, there was no hope for me! Every available minute found me in my girl cave trying out new techniques and supplies.
I am a Chemo Angel, so many of my cards go to Chemo Patients, or lonely Sr. Citizens through the Chemo Angels program. I have several other local ministries that I take part in, as well, donating a very large percentage of what I create. Because of these card ministries, cards are usually my go-to projects. However, I love to alter items, and create 3-d projects, and scrapbook layouts, as well.
When I’m not in my craft cave, I’m usually found teaching paper crafting workshops, walking, bike riding, gardening, or traveling to see our children (when we travel, we always try to meet a new blogging friend!).
We love this playful kitty scene and how perfectly the layers work with this design, using Perfect Layers Mini tool.
Or how about some flamingos in tutus!
The Perfect Layers Mini was used on this next card to add a black matt that helps to draw the eye to the silhouette images, how clever is that!
But why stop at cards, did you know the Perfect Layers Mini is also great for other home projects, check out this cool Cupcake label, see how the matting adds to the sentiment.
Did you know that you can also use the Perfect Layers Mini to evenly space project elements on a card too! Here the Perfect Layers Mini has been used to space the two elements of the die and for the matting around the edge.
Isn’t this the cutest elephant card, we will be back next week with more inspiration from Patti, but in the mean time please leave her some love and visit her blog at http://www.cherisheachpreciousday.blogspot.co.uk
