Dress Up For Halloween

Oh my, oh my who wouldn’t want to dress up like this for Halloween!

As always Art Impression images bring a laugh with Check Meow-T stamp set! Soon Halloween will be here.. and we will once again wonder how the year has gone so fast! I LOVE making the Halloween cards… they can be so fun and use the craziest color combos. But the day always sneaks up on me and I forget to get candy, then spend the evening hiding with all the lights off so it looks like no one is home. Yep… I’m that house!

I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White.. both my go to choices when working with Copic Markers. When it comes to coloring skin, I tend to keep it super simple. I like to work in linear strokes rather than circling patterns.

I added some grey tiger stripes for her classy cat costume!

I cut the frame dies out and used my Mini Perfect Layer Rulers to add the layers not just to the outside but also the inside. This is super easy to do. The ruler edge won’t catch completely since the paper edge doesn’t run the entire length, bt it’s pretty easy to line it up by sight and then just hold it in place as you cut.

You can see I added an additional layer to the polka dot frame and the grey frame. I fussy cut Miss Kitty out and she’s raised up with foam tape.

The Trick or Treat is in laid in to the ivory and of course I snuck a layer inside too! I always use up the leftover papers and complete the inside of my cards to match the front. Finished card is an A2.
